I have seen Christine Caine speak before and she is quite dynamic. I love her primary cause in trying to recuse women from sexual slavery. Doesn't really matter if you agree with everything she believes in but what does matter is that you make a commitment to better your life through your spiritual beliefs in God. Her message resonated with me and I think it will with you. You will be amazed at the difference you can make in the life of another person if you let God's love lead the way. I highly recommend this book.
Jesus redeemed us from the hand of the enemy. If you've never experienced hardship, thank the Lord. If you've survived hardship, thank the Lord. You still have breath so run your race determined to give God all the glory, honor and praise!
Sometimes I like to make living as a Christian so complicated. I am guilty of being the sideline Christian - daydreaming of the time in my life where I will be mature, stable and equipped enough to be one of the mega Christians who live on fire for jesus in everything. Chris Caine slapped me across the face in this book. She reminds readers that there is a divine relay going on - it's been going on for generations and it is our turn to run our leg of the race in THIS generation. It's not about my strength or earning God's love. Rather it's running in Christ's strength in me because of God's love in his victory to become more and more like him! I don't want to be on the sideline anymore. Thank you Chris Caine for this reality check. I highly recommend this quick yet powerful read to anyone!
This book reminded me that I am to find a purpose in Gods body of Christ, my own church, and my own community. It inspired me to sign up for a spiritual gifts workshop to find my place.
Christine Caine uses the analogy of a relay race to point out how God uses us to further his will and multiply our efforts. This book points out basic Christian beliefs about doing God's will and that God uses us to do great things if we only cooperate with him. The book (at least so far) is not preachy, just points out how God has used her in her work and how he will use us too. She makes important points in ways I have never heard put quite that way before.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is hesitant to proceed in a direction to which God is calling them for fear of failure. I would also recommend this book to anyone who thinks they can do better without God, as Ms. Caine points out the amazing things that can be accomplished when we just show up in cooperation with God's will.
Christine Caine has done it again! Unstoppable is filled with real life circumstances presented for our encouragement to be running in our "exchange zones". A very real, very inspiring reminder to run the race that is set before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Through this book Christine has helped me recognize a renewed sense of purpose in my days. Read Unstoppable. You won't be disappointed!
I think this book gives so much inspiration whether you are new to christian faith or old to christian faith. Christine Caine always knows how to get people fired up about Jesus. It makes you realize how much more you can do if you trust fully, and live for Jesus. I recommend this highly if you feel stuck and lost as if you have nowhere to go. It might just give you a kick in the butt you have been needing or wanting.
